I was inspired to put a new banner up, and this one is via Ceanirminger on Spoonflower. I love those waves and Loch Ness!
Have you heard of Spoonflower? It’s seriously cool. It allows you to design your own fabric by uploading a picture, then they will print it onto quilting cotton, cotton satteen, twill, linen, silk, and even voile. It’s pricey, so you’d have to really want that fabric. But for a special project, it’s pretty cool to think you designed it yourself!
If you’re not much of an artist there’s plenty of pre-designed goodies to look at. I love the Obscure Animals by Maile:
or the Mustache Gallery by Avelis:
Speaking of mustaches, tomorrow Jesse’s going to twirl his while we both don our tweed and head off to Portland’s Second Annual Tweed Ride. Check out those photos from last year–you might be able to see Jesse lurking in one! We’re hoping for no rain this year, and a great time.
After that, it’s a weekend of finishing up some sewing projects! Good luck to me, and Happy Friday!
